Patrik Uppman Fotiadis
Patrik is our Head of Offices, based in Stockholm. Responsible for our three offices across Europe. Patrik takes care of our guests and team to ensure that they get the best possible experience at Creandum.
Growing up as the second youngest of seven siblings I learned to share and thrive within a large group, whilst considering everyone’s individual needs and aspirations. We moved around a lot during my childhood which meant changing schools every couple of years. Although it was sad to lose new friendships along the way, this taught me how to develop new relationships, how to put myself out there and be curious and to be open-minded to new environments, people, and situations.

My mother was the reason I sought out Hospitality as a career. I remember watching her work at weddings, private events, and parties and I was just twelve when I started to help her out. I loved the energy, the camaraderie of teamwork, and the vibrant atmosphere. It was then that I knew I wanted to build my career in the service industry. Waiter jobs turned into work within hotels, ski resorts, amusement parks, and later cruise ships. I spent many summers at Liseberg, the largest amusement park in the Nordic countries, located in the heart of Gothenburg.

At the age of 27, fuelled by my passion for hospitality, I enrolled at the Hotel Management School, Les Roches, nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Switzerland. I fell in love with the community, the friendships, and of course the beautiful mountains! This experience reaffirmed my belief that those drawn to the service industry are united by a shared passion for serving others.

My journey has woven through names like Disney Cruise Lines, Liseberg, Mandarin Oriental, Nordic Choice Hotels, and Diplomat Hotels, among others. This diverse background culminated in joining Creandum more than eight years ago, stepping in as a maternity cover. During this time, I have contributed to shaping our culture, the vibrancy of our events, the efficiency of our offices, and the caliber of service we deliver.
