Felicitas is our Marketing Manager, based in Berlin. She takes care that Creandum as a brand, our team as well as our portfolio companies get the attention they deserve.
As the daughter of an Olympic sailor, I grew up traveling the world while our home base was actually in Hamburg, Germany. Sport was always an essential part of our family life, whether it was dancing, running, tennis, skiing, or kitesurfing. Even on vacation, the first thing we did to start the day was go for a run before we enjoyed breakfast.
Inspirational team trip to Seoul
My parents tried to always take my brother and me on my father's professional race trips where possible. We learned to be flexible and open-minded from an early age, making friends all over the world. My mom likes to tell the story that I wanted to celebrate my fifth birthday in Paris and invite all my friends - which of course didn’t happen.
At 15, I went to boarding school in the UK where I grew from a teenager into a young adult. My first work experience was an internship at a PR & event agency in Hamburg. I loved the job and my boss was such an impressive role model to me in terms of work ethic and leadership that I stayed for two years before I started studying cultural studies and economics in Lüneburg, Barcelona, Milan, and Copenhagen.
During my masters, I started an entrepreneurial adventure called “Berlin Talent Summit” to connect startups with business school students looking for their first jobs in Tech. What started as a side project later turned into a thriving business. After working as a consultant for a short time, I decided to quit the job and join the US sleep company Casper in their Marketing and Brand department. After a wild three years in this fast-growing company, I sought another challenge and ended up on the financial side of the tech world.
I joined Creandum in 2019 and haven’t loved any job more. I still remember that when I was young, I wanted to work in futurology to define the world’s trends of tomorrow. Working together with our team to back the best and most impactful companies of tomorrow is actually very close to that dream, if not even better. I love to filter the information that is worth communicating and let the world participate in the work my colleagues and our portfolio companies are doing.
