Since ChatGPT exploded onto the scene in November 2022, we’ve seen a proliferation of Large Language Models (LLMs) from Claude to Grok to Mistral and Gemini, amongst many others. Some are general purpose, others more specialized; some are open source while others are closed and different models excel at different tasks. For enterprises seeking to embrace the enormous potential that AI can bring to their businesses, managing this increasingly complex world of AI models is becoming a headache.
Meet nexos.ai - an AI orchestration platform for enterprises that provides access to over 200 AI models through a single API. This allows businesses to efficiently deploy and then manage and optimize their AI applications. The platform offers a number of key capabilities to enterprises such as:
The ability to intelligently route prompts and requests to the right LLM to optimize performance and cost
Intelligent caching to significantly reduce costs for repeated queries
Comprehensive monitoring and analytics for AI operations
Entreprise-grade security and compliance controls
Automated performance optimization across model providers
The idea for nexos.ai was born out of serial entrepreneur Tomas Okmanas’ firsthand struggles trying to integrate AI models across his companies despite spending over $100k per month on LLM usage in some cases. Tomas is an exceptional founder with a proven track record of scaling high-performing businesses. He co-founded and, together with his team, built several (!) global companies, including Oxylabs and Nord Security (which after investment rounds in 2022 and 2023 became a $3bn company).
This may be the best team in the world building what may become the most important part of the AI stack. We love the team and the vision and together with our friends at Index and Dig Ventures, we couldn’t be more excited to be part of this journey.
