Backing Conduct: the enterprise CIO’s next hire

Time catches up with us all - nowhere is this more apparent than in the codebase of an enterprise IT organisation. But there’s a way to turn back the clock: Conduct. Conduct is a London-based enterprise AI company emerging from stealth with one mission: to modernise legacy ERP at scale.

Take a glimpse inside the codebase of any Global 500 company and it’s likely you’ll see a familiar pattern: millions of lines of custom code spanning thousands of applications and business processes that have compounded over decades.

Organisations that were once renowned as growth engines of whole economies have been worn down into waning behemoths; competitiveness eroded, IT maintenance costs exploding, and software estates unprepared for the next era of innovation. But companies can’t simply walk away from these systems that run everything from payroll to supply chains, drastic action is needed.

Conduct fixes this with AI. Their agentic AI platform enables CIO and business stakeholders to ‘talk’ directly with these legacy ERP systems for the first time. Systems infamous for their rigidity, complexity, and being a business bottleneck are now transformed into tools for growth - in a matter of prompts. Conduct can scan through custom code, track business logic, surface interdependencies, and flag potential impacts. Simple business requests that once demanded weeks of expensive resources in order to decode, are now completed in minutes, and to a higher standard.

Put simply, Conduct is the hire every CIO and Head of IT has been dreaming of: someone who can parse and understand all the eccentricities of your code on their first day at the office, has infinite memory, and market-beating accuracy. That’s Conduct.

The founders: Philipp, Henry, and JP!

Conduct is already delivering this value live in production. Across Europe, IT teams at companies like Daimler Truck, and Rittal, the global server rack leader, are using the Conduct platform daily to run core IT operations. They rely on it for incident and problem management, change requests, and S/4HANA migration preparation across SAP systems. Customers are already reporting up to 90% reduction in task time and operating cost on their existing SAP workflows. Work that once required weeks of reverse engineering and long ticket chains now completes in minutes with guided, auditable actions, faster resolution times, and lower operating costs.

Succeeding in a market that has become synonymous with a lack of innovation and vision requires a team with expertise, timing, and determination. Which is why we’re thrilled to be backing the Conduct team. The founders - JP, Philipp, and Henry - are the perfect team to take on the challenge. During their time working together at Palantir, they saw firsthand the reality facing IT stakeholders today: managing their legacy ERP systems was becoming painfully slow and increasingly expensive, transformation projects costs were spiralling into the hundreds of millions, and yet innovation was stalling.

We can’t wait to watch the team continue to lead in this space, but moreover, we’re excited to see the innovation that these organisations can now unlock once they become unshackled from the limitations of the legacy ERP systems with Conduct’s support!
